Dr. Xu is very well versed with the treatment and prevention of many conditions. She equates acupunture to a meal. You do not get "full" on one piece of bread with a meal (one acupuncture treatment) but do get "full" with several "pieces of bread". So while some clients often may experience dramatic affects the first visit, it is more common for the affect of your treatments to be cumulative in affect. So please approach your sessions with this in mind.
Dr. Xu will happily answer any of your questions as will any of the HTHC staff who have experienced her fabulous treatments first hand.
