Come experience massage & body reading dynamics from a new dimension. Sounds like woo woo but it's work that feeds why we're all doing what we do!   CIMS was developed by Kate Reust, LMP/CRM and founder of Crysalis.   These classes are restricted to Licensed Health Care Practitioners and Massage Practitioners

1. Loosing Our Sight - Gaining Our Vision
   Learning how to stop listening with our eyes and start listening with our hands.  Feeling the movement and shift both with hands, elbows, full arm, breathe, stones etc. 
2. How to stop the discourse in our heads - and really be present with our clients - the depth of our work shifts into whole new realms.  
3. Getting Out Of Our Box - Into A New Comfort Zone
   To work within our routine was how we were trained in school.  To "do for each side of the body - exactly what we did for it's counter part."  Break The Rule!
   
4. Compression, Decompression: New Dynamics of Movement.
   Changing how we look at Deep Tissue.  It's not 'no pain no gain' ! 
   
5. Are we really Hearing ?
   Listening goes beyond the babble we often hear in their words.  Experience 'listening' at a whole new level.
6. Discernment vs Self Deception
   Being willing to loose our "Preconception of Expectation"
   
7. Focus and Fulcrum - Pivotal positioning - it's the connections, intentions and your focus (pec/wrist). Easing practitioner body stress but increasing our effectiveness.
   
8. Deep Tissue from a New Angle - Yeah that is all you get on that one.  But think Deep Tissue without the FORCE or the Pain and Deep bruising often associated with deep tissue work.  
9. Injury Jury -What I Do Creates My Pattern - assessing body issues without touch.  Using touch to verify or clarify your initial thought.

These are just the start of the topics which will be covered and explored in this interactive experience series of workshops.
CIMS are one day interactive events with tons of hands on time - instructor hands on you, yours on others and yours on instructor so you can hear feedback as your hands learn.
These classes are ASTOUNDING for those smaller in stature or who are feeling that they have reached a "dead end" in their bodywork.

This is a series of 4 weekend workshops  - a commitment of 4 weekends in a 2 month period (2 per month) is required.  Registration : 2 -4 students CIMS Cost: $250 per day - includes snacks each day 6 CE credits can be claimed for each day Registration and 25% payment to hold your space. 25% admin fee for cancellation What to Bring: 2 sets of sheets, 2 bath towels Wear comfortable clothing - shorts or yoga pants.   We'll be working in a group environment using the Omsho Crysalis West Seattle studio.
