Okay, we finally got it underway and into completion phase!!! Yeah! Hey, the base pond had to settle in is my story and I'm sticking too it! :)

The Beginning:
Breaking ground, going "OMG what am I doing" .. the initial framework... the thought that this sucker is not going to be that big.

Okay, so reality bites you in the tail and you figure out there is no stopping until you are done!

Segment composites average 100k - ENJOY!

footnote: OMG, it's July (stage 10) and we're still going! Stay tuned for the next edition... Fences and Gates and .....:)

  • In March, 2002, we undertook to build a new deck / fountain / entertainment center for our home. We chose to use bamboo for much of the landscaping and to combine this with oriental elements. After much searching we found Blue Heron Farm. I only had sketchy directions to their location from a nurseryman, and no mention of the need for an appointment. I found the farm and was delighted on sight! Anne was gracious and I offered to return another day with an appointment. Despite her having a very full schedule, she offered very graciously to show me the nursery. It was delightful! Anne asked what we were planning and what we hoped and made clear recommendations. I left with several initial plants (WOW!!!) and plan on buying more in the near future. Thank you Anne / Blue Heron! Delightedly Yours, Kate
