| In March, 2002, we undertook to build a new deck / fountain / entertainment center for our home. We chose to use bamboo for much of the landscaping and to combine this with oriental elements. After much searching we found Blue Heron Farm. I only had sketchy directions to their location from a nurseryman, and no mention of the need for an appointment. I found the farm and was delighted on sight! Anne was gracious and I offered to return another day with an appointment. Despite her having a very full schedule, she offered very graciously to show me the nursery. It was delightful! Anne asked what we were planning and what we hoped and made clear recommendations.
